Synergy can help and advise on how your project can best be constructed, at an early stage of the design process. Many factors need to be considered in which construction materials and forms are utilised, carefully considering a variety of factors.

As an example; a timber frame construction would not necessarily be satisfactory in building a high-rise office block as the stresses imposed into the structure would be too great. A steel or reinforced concrete solution is likely to offer a more durable structure. Conversely, a steel frame structure would be excessive if used to build a single garage. Steel columns and beams would dramatically increase the price of the project and complicate the construction process. A simple perimeter masonry wall with a roof supported off this, would be more practical.

Decisions can be influenced by building size, location, industry, future use, environmental factors and required lifespan.

Conceptual designs need to be investigated at the beginning of the project, as this is when the greatest savings can be made.
