Planters Garden Centre

Planters Garden Centre is a family owned & run Garden Centre, in Tamworth. Planters, which opened in 1990, has impressively developed year-on-year. Synergy Building Design Limited have worked with the team at Planters on a variety of projects:

Extension of Restaurant, Tamworth

As Planters have grown, Synergy Building Design Limited have been on hand to assist in the extension of their restaurant. Initially Synergy helped extend the original restaurant space by adapting the original frame using a structural steel framed solution. Since then, and more recently, Planters have invested heavily in a major extension and refurbishment of the facility.  Synergy have been required to assess the existing structure and design bespoke steelwork to support the existing frames, services and to accommodate the proposed layouts; in many occurrences this involved the removal of existing columns and posts whilst maintaining overall building stability.

Staff welfare facilities, Tamworth

As the company required more staff, the welfare facilities needed to improve to accommodate their needs. Synergy Building Design Limited provided assistance with the internal modifications to improve the staff welfare facilities

Planters at Bretby

Following the success of the works undertaken at Tamworth Planters, Architect’s Bailey Design Ltd. provided drawings for the extended sales of the Planters Bretby site. Synergy Building Design Limited worked closely with Bailey Design Ltd. in the redevelopment of the site, ensuring structural stability was at the core of the project.
